Treble-grip action-bodies with side-clips, the fences chiselled in relief with stylized oak leaves and acorns, the action, lockplates and furniture engraved with bold foliate-scrolls on a matt ground, with some hardening-colour, cocking-indicators, highly-figured stocks with leather-covered recoil-pad (No. 1) and ventilated recoil-pad (No. 2), the chopper-lump barrels with three-quarter raised ribs
Weight 7lb. 6oz., 15¼in. pulls, 30in. barrels, choke approx. ¼ & 5/8 (No. 1) and ½ & full (No. 2), 2¾in. chambers, nitro proof

The makers have kindly confirmed that the guns were completed in 1949 and the extra 25in. barrels were made in 1968.
