An early Safavid blue and white pottery dish, probably Tabriz, first half 16th century
With everted rim on a short foot, the white interior with a central floral spray, the cavetto with similar smaller motifs, the rim with a band of wave motifs, the exterior with cursory scrolling designs -- 10½in. (26.6cm) diam.
