TWO DISHES MADE FOR WALAD SHAH OF ARCOT, CHINA, 18TH CENTURY
Comprising an octagonal dish and circular dish, both decorated in famille verte enamels with lotus flower heads within a simple gilt oval-pattern border, the central medallions reserved with nastal'iq inscriptions dedicated to the Shah of Arcot -- 16 1/8in. (41cm.) wide max.
