Astrological calender and almanac, Arabic manuscript on vellum, 10 tables and charts, short passages of introduction and conclusion, written between gold borders, with chart frames of gold, large ornamental headpiece of lilac and orange tendrils and flowers and gold chainwork, all on gold ground, the whole scroll varnished over, ivory spindle ends, one original and one a replacement -- 123 x 8.5cm (48 3/8 x 3 3/8in.)
