DURBAR OF AKBAR II, DELHI, CIRCA 1820
A large watercolour on buff paper, depicting the Emperor seated on his throne in the Diwan-iKhas of the Palace at Delhi, the Princes of the Blood Royal stands near him, on his left Mirza Jahangir Bahadur, Mirza Babar Shib, Mirza Hussain Bahadur and Mirza KaiQubad, on his right Mirsa Salim Bahadur and Mirza Abu Zafar, also included amongst various other nobles is the British Resident at Delhi, Sir David Ochterlony -- 25.5 x (65cm.) x 21.5in. (55cm.)
