An English turned and carved painted wooden doll
with inset glass eyes, 'stitched' brows and lashes, turned body, cloth and wood arms with hinged joints at elbows, wearing original green cotton bonnet, body warmer, ribbed cotton petticoat and short paisley printed skirt, early 19th century --12in. (30cm.) head to thigh (three leg pieces missing, fingers damaged, paint flaking and nose rubbed)
