With gilt-finished verge movement, decorative cock and pierced and engraved foot, chain fusée, shaped and pierced stylised pillars, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, Arabic five minute divisions, the finely painted enamel case with scene to the reverse depicting Roman Charity, the interior featuring a gentleman walking in a pastoral scene, the band showing four similar pastoral scenes of buildings and rural landscapes, with a later gold and glazed outer protective case, movement signed and numbered, case inscribed
