Signed Aime a Paris, Case stamped PC, circa 1800
With hinged gilt brass verge movement, chain fusée, three arm balance, engraved and pierced cock, conical pillars, the white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, gilt spade hands, revealed under a hinged cover with white and blue champlevé enamel floral and foliage to a yellow enamel ground, the band or sides of the basket decorated with white champlevé enamel florets to a black enamel ground and a band of zig-zag motifs enhanced by white, blue and yellow accents, the bottom of the case engraved with a sunburst motif and a flower against a green enamel lozenge-shaped background, with ropetwist handles and suspension hoop, case stamped PC, dial signed Aime a Paris
