Each with a rectangular panel of close-nailed floral yellow-ground Savonnerie of the second quarter 19th century above the waved seat-rails centered by scallop-shells and on cabriole legs joined by H-stretchers and terminating in scroll feet, the stretchers probably replaced, the Savonnerie with rewoven areas
