Lot Essay

One album contains portraits of the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Emperor and Empress of Russia, members of the Pearson family among other families, and a portrait of Brice, the French Giant who was 8ft. tall. Another album contains an image of the H.M.S. Narcissus, various portraits of members of the Blackett, Elliot and Beaumont families, and military portraits including Emperor Napolean.
