A HOPI COTTONWOOD KACHINA DOLL
representing Konin, or Supai Kachina, with semi-circular feet, straight legs and bent arms carved away from the body, wearing a white painted hide tunic with scalloped hem over a black dress, and white sack mask with rectangular eyes, circular elements on the cheeks, and triangular mouth with small squares above and radiating lines below, framed by strips of red cotton cloth tacked across the forehead, with a pair of striped horns inset at the sides and carved coiffure tapering down the back, string attachment
