A pair of late 18th century shoe buckles
of domed rectangular design, set with a line of foiled faceted colourless paste with thin gold frame detail, in contemporary fitted shagreen case with applied silver foliate pierced and engraved corners and central applied monogram, circa 1790, probably English. (2)
