Rectangular, the cover painted with a figural Eastern scene, the sides and base painted with flowers opening to reveal a silver-gilt sewing set comprising:
a needlecase;
a pair of scissors;
and a stiletto;
each piece chased with floral decoration within oval cartouches:
a thimble;
and a bodkin
length of case 4¾ins. (12cms.)
