Rectangular, the cover with gilt initials and date, opening to reveal a set of silver and steel sewing tools comprising:
a thimble;
a finger guard;
a pair of scissors;
a knife;
a bodkin;
a stiletto;
a winder;
and a needlecase in the form of a fish;
