Rectangular with canted corners, the cover set with an engraved mother-of-pearl plaque, opening to reveal a mirrored interior and a set of Palais Royal mother-of-pearl sewing tools comprising:
a thimble with pansy motif;
a needlecase;
a pair of scissors;
a bodkin;
a reel;
a star winder;
and a further sewing tool;
length of case 4ins. (10.2cms.)
