Casket-shaped on four ball feet, the cover set with a faceted steel stud border, opening to reveal a mirrored lid and a Palais Royal sewing set comprising:
a gold-topped clear glass scent bottle;
a mother-of-pearl needlecase with applied pansy;
a mother-of-pearl thimble with applied pansy;
a mother-of-pearl and steel stiletto with applied pansy;
a mother-of-pearl earspoon;
a pair of mother-of-pearl scissors, the handles with carved dogs;
a mother-of-pearl stiletto;
and two mother-of-pearl winders;
length of box 7½in. (19.3cms.)
