POSSIBLY ENGLISH, CIRCA 1850
Rectangular with central brass cartouche, opening to reveal a set of gilt-metal sewing tools, comprising:
a needlecase;
a bodkin;
and a pair of scissors;
housed in a lift-out tray with applied piping and incorporating two pin cushions, the mirrored interior cover with similar decoration -- length of case 7½ins. (19cms)
