Provenance: occasional contemporary annotations -- Charles Butler, Warren Wood, Hatfield (bookplate) -- Thomas Edward Watson (bookplate; by descent to the present owner). Second edition. A protégé of Cosimo di Medici, Marsilio Ficino is chiefly remembered for his translation into Latin of the writings of Plato.
