A Royal Presentation cigarette case,
the rectangular case of hammered pattern design, the exterior with applied diamond ruby and rose diamond German Imperial Crown and diamond "W" representing the cypher of Emperor Wilhelm II (1888-1918) and with cabochon sapphire single-stone thumb piece, the interior lid inscribed presented by H.I.M. The German Emperor to the "name erased" Sandringham. Nov. 1899, the lip engraved Joh. Wagner & Sohn., the top with hinged vesta compartment, with accompanying hand written manuscript description.
