Each of typical slightly domed form, enclosing a green felt-lined interior with removable part paper-lined trays, labelled on the inside 'R and S Garrard & Co', further inscribed 'Chest no 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 9, 10' and with Garrard inventory of contents 1847,' the lock stamped 'R. AND S. GARRARD & CO CROWN GOLDSMITHS, SILVERSMITHS AND JEWELLERS, 23 HAYMARKET, LONDON BARROWS,' with remains of wax seals, brass plaque inscribed 'HEIRLOMS GEORGE BYNG ESQ. NO.7,' with carrying-handles to each end
