the two coins in brass and, commemorating the maiden voyage and issued by the CGT (French Line), and inscribed with 'S.S. Normandie/World's Largest Ship/Commemorating/Maiden Voyage/May 29th June 3rd/1935'. The maiden voyage medallion, issued to the passengers on board, cast in bronze with an image of the ship on the front with 'NORMANDIE - 79280 tx/CieGleTRANSATLANTIQUE/French Line/LeHavre-New York/1935; and on the obverse and image of a woman releasing a sea stallion and signed Normandie-Jean Vernon, in the original box
