A KLOSTER VEILSDORF FIGURE OF DOTTORE BALOARDO FROM THE SMALL COMMEDIA DELL'ARTE SERIES

Modelled by Wenzel Neu, wearing a black skull cap, white ruff, a black jacket with white cuffs and a white belt with a gilt buckle, black pantaloons and shoes, a white handkerchief (?) suspended from his belt at his left side, standing with his left hand held to his chest and with a black cloak thrown over his shoulder, his right hand holding a peaked hat, before a tree-stump on a pale-brown circular mound base (flaking to black enamel, minute chip to nose, element [syringe?] lacking from his left side)
