A LUDWIGSBURG MINIATURE FIGURE OF A GLASS PEDLAR
CIRCA 1765-70, BLACK H INCISED P.Z·I· 49
Wearing a green hat, purple-edged buff-coloured coat, green waistcoat, pale-yellow breeches and black shoes, with red straps around his shoulder supporting a large basket of bottles packed in straw, standing before a post on a greyish-brown washed square base with canted corners (very slight chipping to hat, straps damaged and restored, minute chipping to one bottle and straw)
