including two moulded relief plaques of Astarte, the Canaanite goddess with hands cupped to her breasts -- 4 1/8in. (10.5cm.) high max.; a standing stylized female idol, with long hair falling to her shoulders, wearing three broad necklaces, dress flared at feet, repaired -- 6¼in. (16cm.) high; two figures riding in canopied seat, fragmentary -- 2 7/8in. (7.4cm.) high; various terracotta quadrupeds, all 2nd millennium B.C.; and a Roman terracotta figure of a horse and rider, repaired -- 8 5/8in. (22cm.) high, circa 2nd Century A.D. (10)
