A turquoise glazed composition ear plug
in the form of a pierced disc with grooved edge, the frontal convex face with a floral marguerite design in the centre and a beaded border, the reverse with single marguerite design -- 1 7/8in. (4.8cm.) across, New Kingdom (1550-1070 B.C.); a large cream and beige 'faience' rosette, with ten inlaid cream petals and central yellow boss -- 1 5/8in. (4cm.) across, Dynasty XIX (1304-1195 B.C.); a large Phoenician core-formed blue glass 'eye' bead, decorated with four blue and white 'eyes', bordered at either end with an encircling row of applied yellow dots, iridescence -- 1in. (2.6cm.) long; a blue glass 'head' bead fragment, 5th-3rd Century B.C.; two blue glass beads in the form of vessels, with mosaic glass decoration -- 1.4cm. high; a yellow glass amulet with suspension loop and with the Zodiac figure of a prancing lion in relief, circa 4th Century A.D.; and a group of other amulets and beads (21)
