A reprint of the Boston, 1701 edition, including the Appendix, and one of the very few books to have the imprint of both William and Andrew Bradford whose partnership lasted a little more than a year (after which Andrew Bradford left New York for Philadelphia). The Appendix, "Being Some Collections, for the Information of those that are not acquainted with the Principles and Practices of the First and most Eminent Leaders, in the Churches of Christ in New England," gives short accounts of the Synod held at Cambridge in 1648, at Boston on 10 September 1679 and of a general meeting of ministers at Boston, 27 May 1697.
