A FINE COPY OF THE FIRST ENGLISH EDITION, considered by Camp to be one of the most interesting books of travel through the Southwest. Froebel traveled to Chihuahua and returned by way of the Sante Fe Trail. In 1853 and 1854 he traveled the same route, to Chihuahua and then to California, arriving at Los Angeles on 6 September 1854.
