Crossbanded overall, the sliding roll-top with a gilt-tooled green leather-lined writing-surface and a fitted interior with four drawers above a central open compartment, flanked by two drawers to either side, above a long frieze drawer fitted to simulate three drawers, above a kneehole flanked by three further drawers to either side
