signed J.M. KLEMAN & ZOON, Amsterdam, one L-shaped section with adjustable base, a column graduated from 3-50cm. with sliding vernier attachment, and a third section with maker's name and further engraved 50 NED.KAN. with sliding extension with screw fix and stamped 503 and 399 to a centimeter scale on the main body, in felt-lined mahogany case with plaque on the lid labeled DOOS 2 H S -- 58.8cm. (23 1/8in.) long; and a lacquered-brass barrel gauge contained in a wooden case -- 51.8cm. (20 3/8in.) long (2)
