with green and red mohair, white, brown and black side glancing eyes, yellow felt beak, orange felt legs and webbed feet, wearing integral beige tail coat, high collar and tall hat, 1920s --9½in. (24cm.) high (some staining, dirty, a few moth holes and slight wear); a Chiltern dog with white and black artificial-silk plush, orange and black plastic eyes, black stitched nose and mouth, integral pale blue artificial-silk trousers with two pink pom-pom buttons, velvet soles of shoes and cloth label in side seam, 1950s --10½in. (26.5cm.) high (thinning to top of head and face, some general wear, fading and discolouration, split to one foot pad); and a British begging Scottie dog with frost black mohair, clear and black glass eyes and tartan ribbon --13½in.
