Probably late 17th century, possibly Spanish, unmarked
Baluster shaped on detachable circular foot, and with detachable octafoil baluster cover engraved with flowers, the stem falling into eight segments, each hollow, engraved with a flower, and with interior sliding cover inscribed with various floral and scent names 'Viole', 'Ambra', 'Cedro', 'Gesmin', 'Moschet', 'Zibeto', 'Vberosi', 'Rose', and with hollow stem compartment
