Lot Essay

Although not based on a Giulio Romano prototype, this drawing was executed in Giulio's style, probably by one of his pupils such as Fermo Ghisoni (circa 1505-1575), Benedetto Pagni (1504-1578), Ippolito Costa (1506-1561) or his son Lorenzo Costa il Giovane (1537-1583).
