The church visible beyond the dunes to the left of this drawing may be Scheveningen. A copy of the composition attributed to Simon de Vlieger is in Munich (W. Wegner, Kataloge der staatlichen graphischen Sammlung München: Die niderländischen Handzeichnungen des 15.-18. Jahrhunderts, Munich, 1973, no. 1036).
