The circular ormolu and enamel dial and twin-barrel movement signed 'FORTIN A PARIS', within a waisted case with glased side panels and boulle-panelled rear door, the rockwork and foliage-edged case surmounted by a waisted hood with a putto finial, the glazed door mounted with a maiden in a floral landscape, on C-scroll and rockwork-cast feet, the tapering bracket with espagnolette clasps and terminating in scrolling foliate base, indistinctly stamped 'JME' and 'GO...'
