Tasting note: A medium-bodied, up-front, pleasant effort, the 2002 offers herbaceous notes intermixed with cherries, licorice, fruitcake, and spice box. With good concentration, soft tannin, and attractive, subtle spicy new oak characteristics, it should be consumed over the next 7-8 years.
