Lot Essay

Meera Bai was the daughter of Mharaja Veerum Devji of Medtha. She was married to the Prince of Chittorgarh, Kunwar Bhojarj, son of the Maharana Sngram Singh Ji of Kewar, but being completely devoted to Krishna she refused to produce an heir. Persecuted for this she was finally united with Krishna in his idol at the temple at Dwarka.
