Modelled by Hugues Protat, the bird naturalistically modelled with grey, blue and white plumage, standing among reeds and lily-pads on an oval mound base, with a fish in its beak forming the handle and spout of the ewer, incised signature (minor chipping to extremities and hairline cracks to beak)
