LATE 19TH CENTURY
Of shaped rectangular form, the cover painted with chinoiserie figures in a garden landscape with islands in the distance within an oval cartouche, the border with trailing Oriental flowers and foliage, two sides with a similar border, supported on four gilt-metal-mounted dolphin feet above rectangular base (slight glaze flaw, minor wear to gilding)
