the case with stepped top above gadrooned cornice, supported on four tapering cylindrical line-inlaid columns with engine-turned capitals and bases, on stepped base with gadrooned border and block feet, the white enamel dial with foliate cast gilt-bronze bezel with steel moon hands (some chipping below VI and around winding hole), with cartouche-shaped pendulum centred by an amorino mask, the twin going barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell -- 15¾in.(40.5cm.) high
