the moulded breakarch case with handle to the top, brass fish scale sound frets to the sides, brass banding to door and sides, on moulded rising rectangular base with brass bracket feet, the silvered dial with engraved and black-painted chapters, pierced steel hands, signed in the arch Thos. Church NORWICH, original verge escapement, pull quarter repeat on three bells, engraved movement securing brackets and backplate incised with an urn to the centre -- 15¼in.(39cm.) high
