the case with scroll arch top applied with foliate mouldings (detached), with part chamfered angles to the front, the sides bowed at the base below pierced quatrefoil sound frets (detached), further foliate mouldings to the front, on moulded plinth base with block feet, the white-painted dial with black-painted Roman chapters, the twin fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on gong (piece of moulding missing to side, strip of veneer loose to door, some cracking to veneer above dial) -- 18¼in.(46cm.) high
