Modelled as an eagle with outstretched wings perched on a biforcating branch issuing from a circular backplate, with ruby tinted and etched glass shade

And a Victorian brass gas bracket, circa 1870, modelled as a mermaid, adapted for electricity, supporting a ruby tinted glass shade with crimped rim -- 20in. (51cm.) protrudence overall, 16in. (40.5cm.) high overall (2)
