A model of an American lateen rigged galley gunboat
after plans published in History of American Sailing Ships by Howard Chapelle, and built up in wood with painted white bottom and black topsides pierced with gun ports and for sweep oars, with scored veneer decks. Fitted with anchors, belaying post, cannons on carriages, sweep oars, capstan, deck hatches with grating, ladders tiller and flag staff and other details. Rigged with two masts with latten rigged spars, furled sails, standing and running rigging. Mounted on a pair of wooded cradles within a plexiglass base with a painted black base
