A CELADON JADE FIGURE OF GUANDI; AND AN UNUSUAL SMALL CELADON JADE BRUSHPOT
The figure carved reclining on pierced rockwork, the right hand raised to hold the long beard, wearing a Ming-style robe and headdress, and reading a book open before him, 18th 19th century, 4½ in. (11 cm.) long; the brushpot of square section and tapering form standing on four bracket feet, carved in shallow relief on the sides with interlinking 'C'-scrolls, 18th 19th century, 3 3/8 in. (8.4 cm.) high (2)
