Unsigned, Edo Period (19th Century)
A broad oval iron tsuchimeji tsuba, with passion flowers and scrolling tendrils, the rim with a broken chevron design in gilt nunomezogan, unsigned, Higo Kumagai school of Edo; a mokkogata copper ishimeji tsuba decorated in gold and shakudo takazogan with an ant moving ants' eggs beside a stream, 18th-19th Century; and a shallow mokkogata sentoku hari-ishimeji tsuba with four inome piercings, the plate decorated in shakudo hirazogan with rolls of brocade, gilt detail, Sendai style, 18th-19th Century
