Each of oval section and designed in polychrome enamels and silver and gilt wire; the first with panels of a phoenix and cherry blossoms, and a butterfly among chrysanthemums against a brown or mustard-yellow ground, surrounding areas lozenge patterns of blossoms, brass mounts; the second decorated with panels of a bird or butterflies in flowers on a light blue or green ground, the surrounding areas with blossom diaper patterns, the mounts and chrysanthemum stopper silver
