The large cylindrical two-tier box designed in red lacquer and decorated in chinkin bori and polychrome hiramaki-e with finger cirtons surrounded by Buddhist emblems and auspicious symbols, clouds, and geometric star patterns on the cover, the sides decorated with auspicious symbols and flowering vines, with key fret patterns at the joints, interiors black lacquer, the carrying case decorated with floral designs, fitted with iron cord rings
