A Khmer and Thai bronze figure
13th and 19th Century
The Khmer bronze figure of a Buddha Sakyamuni standing in samabhanga, both hands in abhayamudra, wearing samghati and necklace, his face with serene expression, broad nose, pouting lips, elongated earlobes with large earrings, striated hairdress with conical-shaped crown, 27.8 cm. high; and a Thai bronze figure of Budhha seated on a high pedestal throne, remnants of red pigment and gilding, 26.7 cm. high, minor damages (2)
