Possibly depicting Li Bai, the figure shown seated cross-legged and wearing flowing robes and an official's hat, with his right sleeve rolled up as he dips a ladle into a basin, with small circular apertures beneath the ladle and in the figure's back

A very similar Qingbai water dropper is illustrated in Chinesische Keramik auf den Philippinen, Museum für Ostasiatische Kunst, Cologne, 1978, no. 123, and another example is illustrated by K.
