With broad body and neck, covered all over with a finely mottled opaque glaze of pale and darker olive tone stopping at the clear glaze on the rim and ending in a neat line on the foot, the base similarly glazed in contrast to the transparent, mottled golden-russet glaze covering the large rectangular panel inscribed with the nianhao
